Open Question is a dialog engine. You pose a question — anything genuinely open, contested, or unresolved — and the AI conducts a structured conversation with itself, taking multiple perspectives, surfacing tensions, and arriving at a considered response. The result is a published dialog, readable by anyone.
HOW TO CREATE A DIALOG
- Sign in, then click "New" to start a dialog.
- Pose your question. The AI generates a multi-turn conversation — a genuine exchange of views, not a monologue.
- Review the dialog. You can edit any exchange that misses the mark.
- Add tags to make the dialog findable by topic.
- Publish. The dialog is added to the community's browsable archive.
HOW TO READ THE ARCHIVE
Anyone can browse the archive — no account required. Use the search bar to find dialogs by keyword, or filter by tag to browse a topic area. Each dialog is a self-contained exchange: a question, a conversation, and a conclusion.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD QUESTION
The best questions are open — they don't have a single right answer, but they have better and worse ones. "Should nurses be required to float to unfamiliar units?" "Is simulation a fair substitute for clinical hours?" "What does professional autonomy actually mean at the bedside?" If you already know the answer, it's not an open question.
